The graphic-novel project: New artwork

The graphic-novel project:  New artwork....

New panels are in progress for the graphic-novel/ comic book storylines.  Some of them have been exhibited in the Atkins Building, in Hinckley - there have so far been two reception exhibitions; Parts 1 and 2 - the first was from the end of February until April, and the second ran from in August until September, this year.  A third exhibition is planned for soon, when a time-slot is available. That one will feature a different set of pictures. These panels are actually paintings done on canvas, either oils, acrylics or both together as mixed media.  Other effects have been added to some of them, too.  They accompany the smaller comic artworks done in various types of inks, pigment line-painters and acrylics, on thick graphic paper/ or board, to create various effects - including some photo-realism, (also so-called portrait /or "scan" mode).  Otherwise, the panels appear in comic/ or part-comic mode.  Some of these panels were uploaded to Twitter and other social-media platforms, earlier in the year, in their earlier stages.

Some examples are as follows - click on the pictures to make them bigger....
